Behavioral Health Tech (BHT)

Objective
The program provides skills to grant the student entry into the Behavioral Health Tech profession and provides the foundation necessary to pass the state exam.

 

Program Description
The program instructs the student in Behavioral Health Tech practices and state law related to the profession. In addition to classroom theory, the student complete case studies.

 

Our comprehensive BHT training includes classroom training. Mrs. Hector is an experienced instructor who will teach you the required skills for a BHT in Florida. She is a practicing therapist with 13 years of experience.

 

In one week you have a chance to complete the Behavioral Health Tech course. 

 

Training will include the 12 steps of recovery, knowledge of documenting, recognizing behavioral changes. With this certification, you will be taking a huge step towards your career in the addiction industry. This is the fastest growing career.

20 Hours of Training
10 Hours of Elective

• Clinical Competence – 8 hours
• Ethics and Professional Conduct – 4 hours
• Documentation & Patient Confidentiality – 4 hours
