LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)


Objectives
The primary objective of the LPN Program is to prepare students for successful careers in the healthcare industry. A combination of coursework and clinical experiences are used to help nursing students work toward this goal. 

Program Description
The program consist of 1350 instructors clock hours designed to focus on duties and responsibilities of Practical Nursing including, admitting and discharging patient, administering medication and theoretical instruction, clinic experience in acute and long term care situations, and medical procedures.

Requirements for Program: 
High school diploma or GED 
Pass the Entrance Exam
Be a minimum of 18 years of age

Upon completion of the program, you will have earned a diploma and will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam. Passing the NCLEX-PN will give you the eligibility you'll need for a career in the healthcare field.

Patient Care Tech (PCT / PCA) 

 Objective
The program provides skills to grant the student entry into the Patient Care Tech profession and provides the foundation necessary to pass the National exam.
 
Program Description
The program instructs the student in Patient Care Tech practices and state law related to the profession. In addition to classroom theory, the student performs the skills. 

The  Patient Care Technician training includes hands-on laboratory and classroom training in Phlebotomy, CNA, EKG and Medical Term. We have a team of experienced instructors who will teach you the required clinical skills for a PCT in Florida.

 You will not only be prepared for the National & State certification exam but you will also learn the necessary skills and experience to meet the standards of the medical industry.
We are an approved on-site testing facility. We process your application. The test is administered at the school.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Exam Prep

Objective
The Nursing Assistant is a skilled health care worker, who under the direction and supervision of a Professional Nurse, will carry out essential basic activities of daily living functions.

Program Description
In as little as two weeks, you can have a chance to complete the CNA prep course. You will not only be prepared for the state’s certification exam but you will also learn the necessary skills and experience to meet the standards of the medical industry.

We are an approved on-site testing facility. We help process your Prometric and fingerprint application. 

We encourage our students who complete our NURSING ASSISTANT Prep Course to take the FL State Licensing Exam here. The test is administered by a Florida State Nurse Proctor on the same equipment used to train.

Home Health Aide (HHA)


Objectives
This course provides the student with training to work at the entry level of employment demonstrating professional communication and interpersonal skills as a Home Health aide. 

Upon successful completion of the program the student will receive a diploma. This documentation will provide the student with proof of completion in a health program, and their eligibility for employment in that area at entry level competency.

Includes book and CPR card.
Learn to care for people in the comfort of their own home – enabling patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.

If you would rather work one-on-one with a patient or in a home setting, the Home Health Aide (HHA) class is for you.

Phlebotomy Technician 


Objective
The program provides skills to grant the student entry into the Phlebotomy profession and provides the foundation necessary to pass the National exam.
 
Program Description
The program instructs the student in Phlebotomy practices and state law related to the profession. In addition to classroom theory, the student performs venipuncture and capillary skills.

The Phlebotomy technician training includes hands-on laboratory and classroom training. We have a team of experienced instructors who will teach you the required clinical skills for a Phlebotomist in Florida.

You can have a chance to complete the Phlebotomy course. You will not only be prepared for the National certification exam but you will also learn the necessary skills and experience to meet the standards of the medical industry.

Behavioral Health Tech (BHT / CBHT) 


 
In one week you have a chance to complete the Behavioral Health Tech course. 
Training will include the 12 steps of recovery, knowledge of documenting, recognizing behavioral changes. With this certification, you will be taking a huge step towards your career in the addiction industry. This is a fast growing career.

This course includes:
20 Hours of Training
10 Hours of Elective
 
• Electives – 10 hours
• Clinical Competence – 8 hours
• Ethics and Professional Conduct – 4 hours
• Document & Patient Confidentiality – 4hrs
• Maintaining Client & Personal Safety –4hrs

The BHT course is not licensed by the Commission for Independent Education.
